Please like and follow I am reviewing the food and beach club. We felt very welcomed when we walked into the beach club Our server, who knew some English, was very nice and accommodating. At no time she said no for any customization we asked. The food and drinks were on point and delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant and beach club

I stayed at Budamar for three weeks in February 2026. It was a wonderful experience. Room H7 is highest room on the west side of the hotel. Although the room isn’t huge it has an ensuite bath, a king-size comfortable bed, a safe, powerful air-conditioning, and an incredible balcony. The view is absolutely amazing (I highly recommend you reserve a room with a sea view). The room was clean when I arrived and was kept clean and stocked with fresh towels and linens by the flexible pleasant cleaning staff. All of Budamar’s staff, in the hotel and in the bar/restaurant, are happy and kind - folks who made my stay enjoyable. In particular, I’d like to compliment the hotel managers/receptionists who respond to any request with a “yes” and a smile. My only complaint about the hotel is availability of internet connectivity. Despite their WIFI signal being strong, their router gets overloaded. In other words, you can connect to the WIFI but you can’t always get from there to the internet. In order to do my job (unfortunately I had to do a little work each day during my visit), I had to wake up before 8AM or stay awake after midnight to get an internet connection. This isn’t a difficult problem to solve. I hope they address the issue before my next visit. Just a couple of reminders: Budamar is nudist friendly everywhere: on the beach loungers, in the bar and restaurant, in and around the pool, on your balcony. The freedom is liberating! Also be aware that accessing many of the rooms at the hotel requires climbing stairs. When planning a visit to Zipolite I highly recommend you consider Hotel Budamar – great location, great rooms, great people, and freedom. I can’t wait to return.

The service was erratic at best, and the food was okay but nothing noteworthy. The Pad Thai had too much tamarind, and the other dish wasn't what we ordered and took an hour to come out. The best part of the evening was eating on the beach. The server was nice, but no one was helping him, despite several staff standing around or doing other things.

Very beautiful place. I spent a very good time there. Please find included a photo of the statue when it was traveling though San José del Pacifico back in February 2017. I took the photo back in that year, what a nice coincidence.

The ocean view rooms with the balconies are amazing and worth the visit. The staff are all wonderful and super sweet. But... we were there 8 days and there was no internet except upon request by the front desk. I had some important work to do so it was definitely a challenge and created some serious anxiety. I ended up going to my friend's hotel where the internet was working just fine.

Lovely environment and incredible massages from Jean Paul- his services range across multiple disciplines and he’s very intuitive with what the muscles need. My best friend and I got multiple massages with him and our trip was made so much better once we discovered him. The hotel and restaurant here are also beautiful and offer a great lounging environment while you wait for your massage or to order food afterwards. The pool is gorgeous as well. All around wonderful establishment! We can’t wait to return.

Lovely place. Few meters from beach. Customer service is fantastic. Staff is very polite and always paying attention to detail and costumer needs. Annette is one of the waitress, always smiling and with a great attitude. I will definitely be back.

We loved our stay here. I was a little concerned after reading some of the bad reviews on here from about 1 year ago. But this place was INCREDIBLE. I would not judge it on any past reviews. The staff are super attentive and friendly, the hotel is safe and beautiful. Yes they do play music until about 10pm but they are very conscious of noise and the type of music they play. If you want a peaceful no noise holiday with no atmosphere there are plenty of other places to stay. We loved it. Give them a shot!
